About Us | Workshop 7

Workshop 7 is an automotive mechanical repair workshop located at 7 Morningside Drive.

A change of address helped us refocus and rebrand the workshop, so we decided to launch a competition and asked our customers the best name for our new business that reflected who we are as a leading car mechanic in Auckland.

We had over 70 entries, but the standout name soon became apparent. It was at this time that we employed one of those creative types.

We want our name to reflect what we do, where we are and the level of workmanship that is required in modern vehicles, all while keeping the area we have moved to in mind.

Our goal is to run an open and transparent mechanical service business. We want you to think of us when you have a vehicle issue. It's 'Complete Auto Services'.

Reviews

Serviced my BMW a few months back, really impressed and will absolutely use them in the future. They took the time to explain everything they'd done, including checking on a few things that I had no idea about to give me a really good overview of what maintenance will be needed in the coming year. Great work guys!

Very nice to have a capable team over the road from my workplace, it must be a first! Nice to be greeted on sight by name when I have been a customer for under 2 years. Our fleet of 3 cars have been serviced and WOF'ed without any concerns. It is great to see the enthusiasm and customer focus there.

Environmental Impact

Workshop 7 has a heart.

We're committed to self-imposed standards of environmental responsibility. New Zealand is our country and we love clean and green.
If you value caring for our environment, here's a few things you may not know about the way we work.

Oil & Oil Filters

Old oil filters are contained & crushed – a process that extracts all the used oil, then sends the metal to be recycled. Oil is captured and recycled to aid in heating systems for a number of businesses.

Tyres

Used tyres are shredded & recycled, then used in many applications like playgrounds & equestrian arenas to minimise their environmental impact.

Metals

Cast Iron, Aluminium & Mild Steel waste generated in the process of mechanical repairs are separated and recycled.

Batteries

Batteries are separated then the lead and plastic are recycled.

Paper

The workshop to the front desk, are committed to cardboard, paper, aluminum and rubbish. All of this is sorted, separated and recycled.
